looking at those traditions the presence of
the actresses would not necessarily 
be opposed but their agenda  
would not be Al-Anon
endorsed ... 


Al-Anon is 
all about getting 
away from nannying
and caretaking ... its your
own independent volition to 
be there that makes it work ... so we 
don't usually accompany people to meetings. 
It should be possible to get someone else to do it ... 


a befriended could help her to represent herself and
also to stay on topic with the actual agenda of the 
fellowship ... it is not an encounter group to use
for any purpose. Al-Anon is specifically for 
people who need help and support around 
their severely addicted relatives ...  but


she could alternatively phone the 
service office and ask for help
around her conflicts with 
myself if she wants to
